Just sign in and start using it, no payment required. AI usage has a cap, and you can check how much you've used this month in the extension popup's "This month's usage." Once you hit the cap, reply generation stops, and to keep going you'll need to pick up a Lite or BYOK plan. There's also a per-minute request limit per account to prevent abuse, but normal use won't come close to it.

There's no per-site integration — it works off whatever text box is currently focused, so it works pretty much anywhere with a comment box. It tries five insertion methods in order, from plain textareas to the rich editors X and Threads use, and if all of them fail it copies the reply to your clipboard instead and tells you. A reply is never just lost.

Lite is the plan where you don't have to set up an API key — BizBee bills you for the AI cost as part of the price. The included AI usage has a cap, and once you use it up, further generation is blocked for the rest of the period and picks back up when the next billing period starts. The usage included in each plan is listed in the Terms of Service.

BYOK stands for "Bring Your Own Key" — you connect your own OpenRouter API key. Reply generation, knowledge-base embeddings, and the AI processing that builds your knowledge base (entity extraction, and so on) all run on your key, so BizBee doesn't cap your usage. It's a good fit if you already have an OpenRouter account, or you use it heavily enough to want unlimited usage.

It's one of the BYOK plans — a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. It never expires, so there's nothing to renew or cancel, and AI usage is unlimited just like the other BYOK plans. If you're planning to use it long-term, settling it once can work out better than the 3-month, 6-month, or 1-year subscriptions.

You can't pay on this website. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store, sign in with Google, then pick a plan and pay in the extension popup in your toolbar.

Once your payment is confirmed, it applies right away — your cap goes up (Lite) or usage becomes unlimited (BYOK) from that point. You can use it for the period you paid for (3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or forever for the lifetime plan), and once that period ends, the benefit ends with it. To keep going, just pick a plan and pay again at that point.

Usage and plan status are tied to your Google account. Install the extension on another device and sign in with the same Google account, and your remaining usage and plan carry over as-is. Voice samples, though, are stored only in the browser, so you may need to re-register them on each device.

Your voice samples live in the extension's browser storage; your knowledge base lives on whatever BizBee server you're running yourself. The only account identifier is your Google sign-in — that's so reinstalling the extension or switching devices doesn't wipe what you've built up. It never touches your account on the sites you're replying on. The only things sent to the server, and only when you generate a reply, are the post you're replying to and your voice and knowledge.

Yes. Installing from the Chrome Web Store means new versions apply automatically — nothing for you to do.

The default — Right Option on Mac, Right Ctrl on Windows — does nothing on its own when pressed alone, so clashes are rare. If it still bothers you, you can change the key in the extension popup, or switch to a "double-tap" trigger if you're worried about accidental firing.
